Edoardo Preger, founder and coordinator of the study, was graduated in architecture in Rome in 1971. Urban Planning director in the Municipality of Cesena until 1987, was also mayor of the city and director of two major brownfield redevelopment programs in Cesena .Most of his professional activity have focused on urban planning and design at the urban scale: consultant for the cities of Rome, Reggio Emilia, Ferrara, Ravenna, and for Emilia - Romagna region for urban regeneration and logistics. He has directed major redevelopment projects in the areas of Ravenna, Cesena, Imola , Rimini and Bologna.He was professor of urban planning at the Faculty of Architecture of Ferrara and Bologna, and has spoken at numerous conferences on the topics of planning .
Graduated in Bologna in 1999. Assistant professor for "Architectural Design" course from 1999 to 2001 with Prof. Giorgio Praderio. Winner of the European Master "executive project in architecture." Founding partner of Studio Associato since 2003 Preger. Oversaw the design and management of many interventions of new construction and renovation of public and private buildings, and urban infrastructure (roads, streets and gardens). He has authored of several projects for developing detailed plans on commercial , residential and productive areas. It deals with issues related to the production of energy from renewable sources such as photovoltaic and hydroelectric power as well as the design of mechanical components and technology.
Since 2003 he is a founding partner of Studio Associato Preger. He worked in particular as a designer on projects in Morciano di Romagna (renovation and reuse of Pastificio Ghigi, the public square ( selected on 5th Biennal of Landscaping on Barcelona , and the new kindergarden), in Bertinoro ( a sustainable residential complex, which received an honorable mention award at the "Premio Sostenibilità" by Promo and Bioecolab, Modena ) and the complete renovation of the GrandHotel and SPA in Fratta Terme. He recently worked the residential project of Via Marinelli and the renovation and expansion of the long-term care ward of the S.Lorenzino Clinic both in Cesena.
During his studies, he was assistant / collaborator of Prof. Marco Tamino and Arch. Marco Gardini to the Laboratory of Architectural Design I and II levels at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence. Between 1995 and 2005 plans, in collaboration with L. Scagli and E. Barducci, the exhibition stand for Masca s.r.l. in Florence to the main European fairs in the lighting industry. After a Marster INBAR explored the field of sustainable design of buildings energy efficient. Since 2009 he has been a partner of Studio Associato Preger. Credited as Energy Building Certifier since 2008. and "KlimaHaus Agency" Energy Consultant since 2011. IPHA and Zephir member, he recently has supervised the construction management of the first Low-energy house certified Casaclima A in Cesena.
